01 — Who we are

THAT DM is the development and asset management arm of THAT Group, a hotel and hospitality group registered in England and Wales. THAT DM is the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website.

02 — What we collect

We only collect what you give us, and what we need to respond:

• Contact details — name, email address, phone number and company when you submit the contact form or email us directly.
• Correspondence — the content of any message you send, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
• Usage data — basic, anonymised information about how the site is used (pages viewed, device type). Only when you accept analytics cookies.

We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party ad networks.

03 — How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work.
• To keep a record of correspondence where relevant to an engagement.
• To understand, in aggregate and anonymously, how the website is used.

We do not send marketing emails from this site. If you become a client, project correspondence is handled under your engagement terms.

04 — Legal basis

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to your enquiry and keep a record of it, and on your consent for any analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent for analytics at any time by clearing your cookie preference in your browser.

05 — Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies required to run the site (for example, remembering your cookie preference). With your agreement, we use an analytics cookie to understand aggregate usage. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set. See our cookie banner at the bottom of the page to choose.

06 — Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it where necessary to respond to your enquiry (for example with a colleague in THAT Group), or where we are legally required to. Any third party we use to host or process data is contractually bound to protect it to the same standard.

07 — Retention

Contact enquiries are kept for as long as is reasonable to respond and follow up — typically up to 24 months — and then deleted. If an enquiry leads to an engagement, the record is retained under the engagement terms. Analytics data is aggregated and not retained against your identity.

08 — Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Be informed about how we use your data.
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify data that is inaccurate.
• Erasure of your data, subject to legal exceptions.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent for analytics at any time.
